To Descanso Gardens from the Inn: North on Fairview (LEFT from Inn parking lot), LEFT on Grevelia, RIGHT on Meridian, RIGHT on Buena Vista, LEFT on Fremont, LEFT on Columbia and follow signs to the 210 Fwy (stay over to the LEFT to avoid going to the 134 or San Bernardino…you want San Fernando). Take the Angeles Crest exit and turn LEFT to La Canada. Turn RIGHT onto Foothill and LEFT on Verdugo and follow the signs to Descanso Gardens at 1418 Descanso Drive, La Cañada Flintridge (818-949-4200 and http://descansogardens.org/general.cfm). |

FROM 210 traveling South to
Pasadena, take California/Del Mar
exit. Continue south on St. John/Pasadena Ave to Columbia. Turn LEFT
at Columbia, then next RIGHT onto Fremont. Watch out for Buena Vista
on your RIGHT, followed by the 110 freeway bridge. Still on Fremont,
you’ll see a railroad crossing warning sign and tracks running
diagonally across the junction of Fremont and Grevelia. Turn RIGHT
on Grevelia then next LEFT on Fairview. Artists’ Inn is on the
northwest corner of Magnolia and Fairview. Turn RIGHT just before
Magnolia to enter the parking lot behind the house. |
