Most mapmakers have not yet caught up with the fact that the L.A. Metro opened its Gold Line route through South Pasadena early in 2003.  The line now extends from Union Station in downtown Los Angeles to Sierra Madre Station in east Pasadena.  Wait a few more years and it will go all the way to San Dimas!  Meanwhile, Old Town Pasadena's Memorial Park Station is just three stops up the line from our local Mission Station, barely five minutes' walk from the front door of the Artists' Inn and Cottage Bed & Breakfast.    HOME
