How to find the Artists' Inn and Cottage B & B at 1038 Magnolia Street South Pasadena -- the ideal destination for business or pleasure!

The light rail system runs through the neighborhood, so Magnolia no longer goes through from the east (Fair Oaks or Fremont) and our nearest cross-street, Fairview, does not go through from Mission.

From the east, take Mission to Meridian, turn RIGHT on Meridian, go two blocks and turn RIGHT on Magnolia. Detailed maps from north (134 and 210) and from south (710 and 10).

From 134 Ventura Freeway headed east or 210 Foothill Freeway headed west, look for Del Mar/California exit (south), go all the way to California (the end of the freeway), go straight ahead at the green light, following St. John Avenue then Pasadena Avenue to Columbia, turn LEFT at the T junction, then next RIGHT onto Fremont. Look for RxR (railroad) warnings in a few yards. Immediately before the tracks, turn RIGHT onto Grevelia. Next LEFT onto Fairview, and the Artists' Inn is 100ft down on the RIGHT. From 110 Pasadena Freeway heading north, exit Orange Grove, jog RIGHT/LEFT onto Grevelia (parallels freeway), across two four-way stops (Prospect and Meridian) then RIGHT on Fairview. We are at the corner of Magnolia and Fairview.

Finally...parking, and the Metro light rail system. The Artists' Inn has ample off-street parking in the courtyard between the main house and the cottage, so there's no need to risk heavy fines for non-permit parking on the street. You may want to take advantage of the fact that Mission Station on the Metro light rail system is just a five-minute walk from us (about a third of a mile), providing easy access to Old Town Pasadena and Downtown L.A. and countless locations around L.A.County. It's cheap, too: $3 for an all-day pass.
